Topstaff Employment has a strong presence in the Hospitality sector in Glasgow, and is currently looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team.
This opportunity will suit an individual with a passion for the hospitality industry, currently working in supervisory or management role in a kitchen or front of house environment who wants to move away from normal operations and develop a career in recruitment.
What will you be doing?
• Developing new clients over the phone, face to face and through email marketing
• Securing business by identifying and filling vacant jobs
• Gaining detailed market knowledge and sharing insight
• Overcoming sales objections
• Sourcing candidates through advertising, search and networking
• Screening and interviewing candidates in order to match them to suitable vacancies
• Attracting candidates via adverts, job boards, social media/networks, attending events, headhunting and referrals.
• Meeting Clients and Candidates regularly, providing them with an excellent experience
• Managing a large pool of temporary workers
• Arranging staffing solutions for clients
What are the requirements?
• Driving licence
• Excellent communicator, confident on the phone as well as face to face
• Proven time management and organisational skills
• Self-starter
• Motivated by success
• Experience of working in the hospitality industry
